PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
11T Robotics
The project involved relocating and decommissioning 11 patient
rooms for construction, followed by activating new rooms. Existing
Angio Body Supply, Procedure, Control, and Equipment rooms were
decommissioned, and new procedure rooms with support spaces
were activated. The existing Cath Lab and Cysto Procedure OR
with a sterile corridor were decommissioned, with new Cath Lab and
OR spaces activated. The main lab was reworked over 16 phases,
requiring temporary relocations of staff, IT, lab equipment, and supplies
before each phase. Newly built Molecular Pre and Post labs were
activated, and the existing lab was decommissioned. Swing spaces
were activated to accommodate patients, facilitating the relocation of
over 300 patient rooms across 9 昀氀oors and 30 phases. This included
managing the construction of a new Nurse Call system, 昀椀re alarm
tie-ins, IT re-cabling, and room refreshes before patients returned.
Support spaces were relocated and decommissioned, including
PET CT and Stress Labs, which were transitioned to new facilities in
phases. Additionally, lab support staff were relocated to a new lounge,
activating the space and decommissioning the old one for construction.
