PROJECT EXECUTION PHASE
The Project Execu琀椀on Phase is where all our Move & Ac琀椀va琀椀on planning is put into ac琀椀on. This can
be a stressful and chao琀椀c phase for the project team if not managed correctly. We’ve developed a
proven strategy to provide clear & open communica琀椀on, avoid confusion, and execute the Move &
Ac琀椀va琀椀on plan for a successful Go-Live experience.
This phase can be broken down into two sub-phases; Move & Ac琀椀va琀椀on and Go-Live.

MOVE & ACTIVATION
The Move & Ac琀椀va琀椀on por琀椀on of this phase is where the magic happens. This is the 琀椀meframe
between the contractor’s comple琀椀on and Owner’s Go-Live, where we execute Owner ac琀椀vi琀椀es
like deploying FF&E, moving the end-users, stocking supplies, preparing for opera琀椀ons, etc.
The strategies and tools we use to manage this phase are Onsite Management, CPM Schedule,
Ac琀椀on Tracker, Move & Ac琀椀va琀椀on Mee琀椀ngs, and the Move Day / Week Schedule.
ONSITE MANAGEMENT
The Move & Ac琀椀va琀椀on phase is one of the busiest phases for the Project Team and
requires onsite presence from our team to orchestrate the various team members.
Our team is commi琀琀ed to having full琀椀me onsite presence during this 琀椀meframe to
coordinate resources, manage key teams such as movers and vendors, provide real-琀椀me
issue resolu琀椀on, and manage the overall process.
CPM SCHEDULE
We use the CPM Schedule created during the Planning Phase as our compass during this
phase. It provides an overarching 琀椀meline for the team to work towards and then we use
the Ac琀椀on Tracker and Move Day / Week schedules to dive deeper into the details.
ACTION TRACKER
The Ac琀椀on Tracker is the most used tool during this phase. Due to the level of detail that
it contains, it allows us to accurately track the cri琀椀cal tasks in real-琀椀me; providing e昀케cient
updates, adjustments, and allowing the team to remain agile as the physical ac琀椀vi琀椀es are
evolving.
Move & ACTIVATION MEETINGS
Move & Ac琀椀va琀椀on Mee琀椀ngs are crucial to the success of this phase. We typically start
with holding weekly mee琀椀ngs (at a minimum) and increase the frequency as we approach
Go-Live. Depending on the size and complexity of the scope, we could be mee琀椀ng daily
or even mul琀椀ple 琀椀mes daily to ensure proper coordina琀椀on and alignment amongst the
team. In these mee琀椀ngs we review the CPM Schedule, Ac琀椀on Tracker, Move Day /
Week Schedule, and all other ac琀椀on items as they arise.
